Last night, Jordan and I made a feast of Hawaiian Rolls and Bratwurst. It was surprisingly delicious. Simply tear the sweet Hawaiian Rolls in half and cut the bratwurst in thirds and then cut the resulting pieces in half length-wise -- like mom used to do when she fried hotdogs :)
I'm finally done with school, and my little guy is 2. Time to open up the cookbooks, and introduce him to the deliciousness that is food. (The real kind, not the blue box)
My goal is to start cooking dinner at least 3 nights a week. Between swimming lessons, work events, and teaching an evening class. This will be a stretch.
------The original Plan------ As we start this new chapter in our lives (so cliche) I found it difficult to make good food for just the two of us. We are on a budget (like most newly weds), do not have a deep freezer, enjoy a good bottle of wine, like fresh fruits, veggies, and meat, & try to buy organic.
This blog will chronicle our adventure- 1/2 food, recipes, & tips.... and 1/2 the adventure of married life!
